DID YOU KNOW?

Most commercial shampoos function from the action of one or two chemical cleansers and a foam booster. To counteract the harshness of these formulas, synthetic coating agents (usually silica based) are added to reduce them stripping the hair & give the illusion of shine.  Commercial formulas like these - basically detergents - also fade hair colourings much faster!

Only gently cleansing formulas, kind to sensitive scalps, without stripping away natural oils, unlike commercial based sulphate shampoos, instead using only plant based gentle cleansers, extracts, proteins, vitamins & Essential oils to maintain clean, healthy hair.  A heavenly blend of Essential oils will uplift & energise your whole being, including Lemon Oil to help remove product build-up & residue. BASE INGREDIENTS

Aloe Vera - restores natural moisture balance to the hair, especially beneficial for dry, treated or damaged hair; adds body & shine, helps to smooth & protect the hair shaft whilst drying
Coco Betaine - an extremely mild and easily biodegradable cleanser derived from coconut oil. It has natural and safe foaming qualities that gently clean without stripping away the natural oils. It can promote manageability for hair.
Lauryl Glucoside - a gentle cleanser made from coconut Oil & palm sugar, extremely gentle to the skin
Sodium Lauryl Sarcosinate & amphoacetate - Sarcosinate surfactants are mild, biodegradable anionic surfactants derived from fatty acids and sarcosine (amino acid). NOT A SULPHATE & NOT BELONGING TO THE GROUP OF SODIUM LAURYL SURFACTANTS.
Glyceryl Oleate – a natural emulsifier made from extracting vegetable fats from olive oil (oleic acid) and glycerine
Sodium Hydroxy Methyl Glycinate – a plant based preservative with a structure base on the amino acid, glycine.  Has antimicrobial and anti-fungal properties to protect product integrity over time.
Behentrimonium Methosulphate – an extremely mild natural plant wax derived from canola oil (rapeseed). Imparts superior conditioning & detangling, without causing any buildup, and is kind to sensitive scalps, being recommended for use in baby products which are left on the skin.  It is not a sulfate.

ESSENTIAL OILS

Lavender – restores natural balance to hair & scalp, normalises scalp conditions, soothing & calming
Lemon – removes product buildup, enhances & improves natural blonde colouring/highlights, promotes shiny hair
Palmarosa – hydrating, brings out natural colour, softness & shine 
Roman Chamomile – enhances & improves natural blonde colouring/highlights & general health of hair  
Ylang Ylang - Protects colour treated hair, prevents colour fading, adds shine & lustre

PROTEINS 

Fucus, Spirulina, Kelp extracts – contain essential amino acids which are natural protein builders for hair, to increase strength, suppleness & moisture retention; penetrates deeper than collagen.  Attracts & draws moisture to hair.
Soy Protein - a natural ingredient made from soybeans. It acts as a conditioner, giving body and texture to the hair. The protein becomes attracted to the hair cuticles and forms a protective layer, fills & seals the hair shaft; this then softens and repairs the hair in addition to providing fullness, strength, shine and glass. It also reduces 'fly-away' hair.
Wheat Protein  – vegetable protein extract to nourish, strengthen & repair;  thickens hair by 'filling & sealing' the hair shaft; adds shine & better body control. 

VITAMINS

Vitamin B5 Panthenol - readily absorbed into the hair, being deposited onto the cuticle and penetrating the cortex of the hair, especially for bleached, colored or permed hair. Vitamin B5 provides benefits such as long lasting moisture, it imparts lustre, adds strength & body and it has a conditioning effect resulting in easily manageable hair. It considerably reduces the formation of split ends and acts as a detangler, making hair easier to comb. It serves to repair damaged hair and can thicken undamaged hair by up to 10%.  
Vitamin E - an emollient & effective anti-oxidant with healing and rejuvenating benefits that help prevent cell damage by neutralising free radicals.

Burdock - (organic Australian) - excellent scalp tonic, improves hair strength, shine & body
Calendula - (organic Australian) - soothing, calming, anti-inflammatory, healing; enriches natural red colouring
Chamomile - a fabulous addition of improving the colour and general health of your hair, whilst making it soft and supple; helps to smooth the hair shaft. Chamomile has anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties, whilst being soothing and calming.  
Coffee - guards against UV damage; enriches natural brunette colouring
Cucumber - Purifies, cools & refreshes the scalp, high in natural silica for hair strength, smoothness & shine  
Ginseng - Provides essential energy and is the hair follicles rejuvenating factor, slowing down the degeneration of cells. Ginseng has also been used for thousands of years by Asian people to promote healthy beautiful hair  
Ginko Biloba - to moisturise & protect hair, excellent anti-oxidant protection
Green Tea – antioxidant properties to protect hair & scalp from free radicals, balances oily hair
Kiwi Fruit Extract – Excellent protectant against colour fade & damage  
Nettle - stimulates the scalp, may help to prevent dandruff & hair loss.
Papaya - excellent for balancing oily hair types
Red Clover - (organic Australian) - revives, purifies scalp
Watercress - a moisture regulator, especially useful for dried out, damaged hair

Meadowfoam Seed Oil - adds superior shine & moisture to hair & scalp
Neem Oil - strengthens keratin proteins to support healthy hair growth.  A great scalp tonic - stimulates circulation, normalises oil production, excellent for oily, dandruff, dry or irritated scalp conditions, such as psoriasis; hair loss. Effective against head lice.
Rosehip Oil - deeply moisturising, softens dry, brittle ends
